This set of ten Leggera chairs was designed by Gio Ponti in 1951. They were manufactured by Cassina in 1952. After few years, in 1957, Ponti tweaked the design and released the iconic Superleggera model. This version is made from black laquered ash with a skai seat. The set consists of 7 chairs with black skai seat and 3 chairs with dark-green skai seat. These last chairs have to be restored: the foam is worn out and the original skai has some signs of wear and use. all the frames remain in a overal good vintage condition with some scratches as displayed in picture.
