This lamp can be switched on/off just by touching the triangle cover on the top of the lamp. It remains in good condition: light wear consistent with use.

Once the plug is inserted into the socket, the transformer located inside the base requires a few dozen seconds to operate the lamp. From the first time it is used on, each subsequent switch-on is immediate.
