The I.S.A. (Industria Salotti e Arredamenti) factory—also known as ISA, ISA Bergamo, or ISA Italia—was founded in the late 1940s in Ponte San Pietro, near Bergamo. The company became renowned for producing iconic, evocative pieces designed by masters like Gio Ponti alongside Ico and Luisa Parisi. It also actively collaborated on creating furniture and seating models for Veronesi, Fiori, and Morelli.During its expansion in the 1960s, ISA established a dedicated department for the US market. Around this time, the company also acquired the manufacturing license for the famous Sheriff Chair, a masterpiece by Brazilian architect and designer Sergio Rodrigues.
